Of libertines in the mass media: A poem

To the world that is hopelessly blind

to the lies that are efficaciously well-defined

That mislead the vulnerable with evil design

And the truth is extirpated or left behind

Political correctness is the order of the day

To that end, propaganda shows the hapless the way

Where leaders with convictions are shamefully let down

And the vicious cycle of sinful objectives comes around

That we, in seeking, have nothing on offer

But injustice and impropriety, as libertines proffer

Their wilful maxims for to unswervingly cloak

Our innocent eyes with ill-begotten hope

Astuteness is by far the only answer

Judiciousness to ring in by every measure

Is what is needed to confound this deceit

And salvage the world from going decrepit

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
