Passion: A poem

To pluck at the rainbow

from the open window

To hit a crescendo

like a flute in the meadow

Inspiration’s open arms

embrace and be disarmed

A storm after morning calm

Tempestuous as a fiery swarm

What revs up the ignition

from acts that are full of passion

Hungry like a tiger’s chase

Desperate as an athlete’s race

When ambition does soar

Resounding like a lion’s roar

Don’t forget, compassion be passion’s daughter

Like a river gushing forth water

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
