Futile desire: A poem

We fear fire

But the flame of desire

can burn us as well

Then why fear hell?

A little candle

is enough light to handle

Greed is the face

of humanity’s disgrace

The fortress of relief

is in keeping the belief

that a bird can better fly

when needs are the sky

The thirst for water

when the heat within is hotter

Remember, the cold gets colder

as we grow older

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
