It is the rich who always fear the worst
Not the poor, who make do with just bread crust
The rich draw way too much earth from fortune’s trench
Their hunger is omnipresent that much wealth can’t quench
It is the rich who avoid paying their tax
They heed to the law with much earwax
When it comes to duty, there is a memory lapse
The poor are stoic in their little mishaps
The rich have exotic wine, the poor have spirit
The rich make jokes, but the poor reserve wit
The rich have solutions, the poor have answers
They don’t treat their miseries like dreaded cancers
The rich have desires, and they have a choice
But hearts are warmer where necessity is the voice
The rich live in towers of ivory and gold
A meal is riches for the pauper, but he is never sold
so true . so well written
