Waiting for kingdom come: A poem

My love for you is so immensely precious

that I have waylaid my own deserved justice

My earth wallows without equinox or solstice

I am superhuman invincible but not Invictus

This unshaking faith has sacrifice like kites

flying against a daunting, merciless sunrise

I never did once take away your loyalties

But relinquished all mine for you, with no royalties

None can pick me out for impulsive impatience

None can single me out for abandoning resilience

I have lived with a troubled divided conscience

Counting thorns as roses of immaculate good sense

I am a valet to this seemingly unending ballet

Only a chalet in destiny’s oversized roulette

Will you?… for all my perpetual waiting, waiting

for kingdom come, like an infracted exiled king

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
