They came from Pisces…: A poem

They came from a very cold place 

Pink and blue on the face 

My heart did not race 

I was thinking of disgrace 

They made their entreaties 

I revulsed at them like a disease 

When they told me of their wishes 

I guessed they were from Pisces 

I was not at words’ loss 

when they offered me the Christian cross 

I told them blunt and fast: 

Shove it up your arse!
