Man’s game of shame: A poem

Carcinogen’s castles, cavaliers of doom

Morphing spiders, looming ever so soon

Threadbare threads in watery toxic paste

Cordon bleu of Man’s belching scum and waste

Build Legos of sin’s concrete and glass

Scrotum’s glue glutonises their top brass

In careful treachery, their dominos stand

Villains’ pantomime at the grand stand

And their bellies and hearts hold Aces of greed

Virtue is landlocked by their sonorous creed

Harvests are reaped from corruption’s seed

Their alleged paradise is Eden on weed

Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer, the Houses of shame

Their scrabble’s keyword is an unGodly name

At the hustings of democracy, guess what became?

Crime will carry on, and who will be blamed?

  1. true. There is so much goodness and good men and women in this world. Are you able to celebrate these unsung unknown men and women through your poetry Monte?
