I look for you…: A poem

In the collision of continents, in the collusion of galaxies

In the omnipresent arms of the Supreme, who oversees

In the wisdom, the intuition and the inherent inspiration

In the forests of voices coming in like spirits whispering

I have been a patient and slow snail, yet flown like a dart

I had been broken and savaged, but never taken apart

Even night sky is dawn, in the magnitude of starlight

The arias of love alone help the fledgling take flight

Would Adam forsake Eve if he were promised Paradise?

How innocence is victim of just a few loquacious lies!

Me, I’m not ignorant of the truth written in the skies

Even my pigeon-hole hostelry is paradise to my eyes

I know there is vision in justice, not mere comeuppance

God sees that it is for love that I continued with this dance

I know He has marked my forehead with His protection

And so, with this assurance, I look for you with conviction

Hi, I am Monte Cyril Rodrigues and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired journalist. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I've had voices and visions all my life. I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
