Today may be safer than tomorrow: A poem

I hold on to dear life amid such horror

May I suggest today could be safer than tomorrow

Does hello helio eat up your blood and cell?

Is the moon any better than the wandering hell?

They are looking for the alleged heaven

Is it really a haven from seven-eleven?

Yes, we all know the story of Adam and Even

Was it always a prison between now and then?

You can cry as much as a weeping willow

There are all too many headed for the gallow

Briny is not so much of a healing aloe

It is you the deep sea wants to swallow!

Do you plan to wallow in an eternal orbit?

Freedom’s mason may secretly learn to fit

But most of all is wanted the mythic hero

like a priceless curio in their shop’s window
