Jashmina, I don’t want fish, but what do you wish?: A poem

Hey Jashmina! I’ve sacrificed an eternity for you

I’ve proved myself. Did you prove your love is true?

Or do you want to be a fish? I pray that’s not what you wish

Do you think I want to end up in Pisces’ piss?

For you, I gave the evil Left the victory’s crest

Did you ever think that I too need to be redressed?

If the fish suits the Lion, the Zodiac knows what’s best

I am earthy, but I can’t help the feeling this planet is not my nest

But I know I can’t choose; how must I always lose?!

Because Prakash Saint Paul hijacks all that is my dues

So, let there be no redemption, let my enemies always win

And let Prakash Saint Paul be the reason for all that crime and sin

Let Labor Day prevail; it certainly is not my day any which way!

I’d rather be the victim coloured in shades of grey

No reward will I accept; I am on nobody’s pay

I always only did my duty and never ever had my say!
