Treachery can never get an everlasting try: A poem

Does the sharpness of light

turn one illuminatingly blind?

That as one is seemingly blind

one can see all, forward and behind

I can burn, as I learn

Invisibly, unlike the fire of the sun

Which fire is most divine?

Do we see the immaculate sign?

Is Prometheus sinner or saint?

Did he make the gods feel shame?

Would I have known that heaven is cold?

And its bliss is made of stolen gold?

There should be no prejudice in the truth

Yet, justice is not what many see as good

There is so much treachery in the woods

To defeat it, even treachery must be understood

Does the butterfly ask why

he should ever have to comply?

And the bee who makes the honey

have it taken from him for free?

Was singularity shattered by a lie?

The Supreme has only one eye

I know I see his glory before I die

Treachery can never get an everlasting try…
