I have no recourse to anyone without checkmate, but I don’t fear: A poem

You think only the insane have delusions?

Your hypocrisy is like, on God, treason

With treachery, I never shared a vision

And I know, too well, my every reason

I have no recourse to anything or anyone

You all took away my love from me, so I can’t have my dearest dad and son

I swear, by my darling Mother, I am not bothered who lost or won

This relentless conspiracy defeats, but cannot have me undone

Your treachery and checkmate can make me subject

But my love and loyalty I utmost respect

From this belonging, I will never defect

I’d rather go from this world, than from my honour be circumspect

Hi, I am Monte Cyril Rodrigues and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired journalist. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I've had voices and visions all my life. I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
