The genius of God’s love: A poem

The genius of love

dissipates the ingenuity of the crafty

God has many faces

that survive all the disgraces

You could turn away from Him

disappoint Him with your sin

But He is rock and roll of soul; universal sound

He can never come aground!

Did they think His eternal sacrifice

was His vulnerability, not His device

Men have seldom heard His cries

They render themselves distant with their lies

He is no labourer, but His garden

has colour, soul, splendour and gold laid in

And the battles that you perceive

is His handiwork to deceive

the pretentious devourer, who at every hour

would be denied, if God’s creation tasted sour

Believe that there is evil’s conspiracy

in the guileful entreaties and propositions of the deep sea!

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
