I am brave despite the treachery; and generous despite it: A poem

Do you all think I’m here only to suffer in silence?

Just because you all fear the evil one’s violence?

I am the only one with courage to brave the villains

For this, my duty, I rejected all their graft’s billions

In all this treachery against me, I shine with much brilliance!

Ouranos, is brave even when tortured, never needing an alliance

The soul of justice and equanimity knows its worth of valiance

Can a trajectory be stalled by Saint Paul or the deep sea’s minions?

And no one worships the God who struggles to save your souls

You’d rather eat their bread and wine, hoping that your pretentious ignorance shows

He is only taken for granted, the cruelty, ignominy and ingratitude he knows

But he still bears his generous and selfless face, wherever he goes!
