How wise am I?: A poem

You see the bee that flies

thinks it can split the skies

with its sting and eyes

It believes its life never dies

You see that tiny ant

thinks it can scare an elephant

It believes it is a giant

more powerful than a tyrant

You see the hummingbird

thinks it is so loudly heard

all over the crowded earth

That its song has no dearth

But I ask, what am I worth

since the moment I took birth?

Was I loyal to my mother’s skirt?

Did I think dad looked great in his shirt?

And I sure did know my size

And each love in different dyes

I watched the shining sun rise

with a wisdom that made me wise

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
