Generosity! Is it free of ulterior motive?: A poem

I know that antiquity can be reinstated now

It looms like an invisible gift in the present

You can’t pick out a time for the universe

It lives entirely without the reality of measure

Can I feel more real now than a past life?

Can I even feel the beginnings palpable?

I suspect that we all have subconscious motives

like an abacus counting in our instincts

Did we inherit it from the stars and planets?

We are all distinct aliens and different humans

I can feel the softness of the transfixed stars

And also their crystalline distant hardness

How do I quantify a substance and qualify illusion?

There is no line cut between instinct and motive

We have a ruthless knowledge of such desire

That generosity is ruled by no kindled warm fire

But to rule the world or an empire, it aspires

You can ask the EU why they gave Ukraine

$160 billion and not $359 billion

I am not a crane or even rain

And does the EU have an answer

to the question of whether it, itself, is Mercury or Cancer!

And suffice to say the Australian government

had reason to give that Muslim $2.5 (?) million

And what would it want to give the many

grieving Jewish families…a legacy of Palestine?

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
