You take my gun, I end your fun!: A poem

(A letter to a bad government that was voted in again)

(I’ll never forgive you, you creep Albanese, for what you did to me! Fuck off!)

You took my property, and caused my poverty

cheapskating your way to garrison my integrity

Did you all ever think of sincere care of duty?

Populism was your way to rouse popularity

So, are you undressing Allah, now, with your law?

Didn’t you earlier disparage to nudity Israel’s war?

How forked tongued is your pitch with whatever you ditch?

Does your vapid governance, your mouth of convenience stitch?

I dare you! I am my own gun; Dezi Freeman was on the run

Is democracy your overrated masqueraded pun?

Do your laws hold you too? Aren’t you above them? What fun!

It is only the right-thinking who are, by them, undone!
