I never even shed a tear
or broke myself in shards of fear
For, as a child, I lived as a child with every passing year
That what I love, should be kept so far from me, and yet, feel so near!
They think they can take all my eternity and wrap it in a moon’s silver coil!
Or make it a skin of scales breathing through gills, so I should recoil
But I am father of a universal soul that bears the stamp of my toil
And you must know that it can only be bathed in my sacred oil
The one who dares to cause travesty on my possession is only eternal sin
He is not even my subspecies, but so subternatural and alien
There is none in my nature that even remotely belongs to him
But he dares to perennially swindle out of me, every love, friend, kith and kin!
You know I didn’t gaslight the universe; it was snapped from original golden inch
I may seem like the littlest finch, but I am the energy that still cranks the winch
I have copped every stormy tribulation and suffering without crying with the pinch
I have died so often, but you must all realise which eternal wickedness must be lynched!
