I stand at a mountain and witness a portal: A poem

I stand at the base of a mountain

and utter the words: Open Sesame!

And see a rock clear from the mountain

and reveal a portal

And, in it, I see a reflection of the stardust in my hair

As if it were an original vision of myself

I swear I won’t comb out this stardust off my hair,

just leave it to knot my beauty in the tresses

I have such festoons in felicitation

of my grandeur; one in unison

four metres tall, I stand

and two metres wide!

This solidity of myself, infinitesimal

and eternally humongous

I know the love and be loved

of a Phoenix that feeds all it loves with its love

In the Gemini in my eye

That is two lovers, and a universality of all they love

And I know this will never be a shattered illusion

I have waited in eternity, and I have known it in every moment

of the leaves of varied lives, I wove on my sleeves

with so much beatitude of passion and compassion!
