I am waiting, waiting!: A poem

Can I kick the ball as well as I can grab it?

I just think that no one ever told me

that I am too old to play; My team

is made up of old fogeys, who still

believe that their belief stands tall

Sometimes, I think I push them too much

as if my mentoring doesn’t blow the whistle

and there never was a free-for-all!

We’d better be sitting and playing bridge

as if mental faculties are the last to go

and memory always has something to show

no matter how old you grow!

I didn’t work too much with my hands and feet

But would you ever believe that I did so much!

All the world would have no joists if not for me

And yet, I can even be Samson! I laugh with

merriment that man can become high priest!

Because it is no grievous fault of mine! Not mine!

I am not the grand deceiver (PSP)! I just want to

wait here till the Moon becomes an asteroid; as it

deserves to be kicked! And I want to wait for

the ducks to stick their heads out of the water,

when there will be no fish or shark left in the seas!

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
