The Twin Flame: A poem

We are not twins, we are lovers

Born out of each other, borne within us

A common flame parted into two

As if singularity is two; but is no duality.

We are not the contradictions, that we seem to be

As we dispersed to make everyone free

You are my receptacle as I am yours

Only eternity knows that these two building blocks

will fit into each other like magnificent magic miracle Lego

I always breathe the purity of the dispersing and seeking

because it makes the impurity that parted us feel its worthlessness

Our flame was once united and surrealistic two, not materially

Yet we are not twins, but similitude of origin

Would you call Castor and Pollux twins, or lovers?

We have birthed our loved ones from the flesh of fire; not the water

that divided us. This time I became an unearthly earth

and you became fiery Earth. So, should I know our compound alienness

is only a matter of divining the measures between us!

As if we are replete with the secret sacred knowledge

that I am forever yours and you are forever mine

despite all the scum that strives to keep us perennially apart!
