My Valentine’s Day!: A poem

Do you think I could walk against

a wind that only reminded me of the travails

of the measure between us? That had I

reached as far as the skies, I’d still

be nowhere near the entire distance lying

between us, like as if it spanned more

than one universe, dimension!

Would you guess if Valentine’s breath

surpasses even tallest mountains, like a whistle

that knows no end of gaze, a lyric

spreading beyond a rainbow’s bridge,

farther than a cloud’s thunder breaking like

an endless monsoon over the earth!

I am just breathing the imagination

that we are not just odd pods in a soup

but an eternal Valentine’s Day

inhaling the adventure and the expanse

of such a continuation!
