I was always your guardian spirit, O Israel!
Since the molten earth turned solid, I came
like Adam Kadmon, your soul, before you even manifest
long are the ages of God’s revelation, before it was actually revealed
of the promised people; but they were subject to much travail.
I had to hide my identity, much too often,
so that you wouldn’t be so punished by evil villains
And you could only possess a tiny bit of land
Though my world is all yours to have
But how could I stop your punishment
when they all wanted you wiped off the world map!
I always stood by you in my sublime diminution
Even your kings did not realise that I stood by you always
I gave you your priests as well and your gods Elyon, Yahweh…
They were just incarnations of me
And I became your soldier in vain
But I always thought you ought to know my name.
I gave you your divine Priest-Kings and God-Kings
Zadokites like Melchizedek, if I should name.
I only know the hurt and pain of your continued suffering
You know they are all to blame. Those that wanted to also tear me down!
They who now do not want to liquidate in shame!
