David Littleproud – the most resilient person is someone who never breaks down: A poem

I listened to you struggle with words, you showed pain

I had a tear slipping down my face at it

I must tell you that I totally empathise with your pain

I could see that you could take it no longer

You had a belief, a conviction, that is so hard to let go

So, I should understand that you were too exhausted that you had to let it all go!

Something tells me to tell you – that the most resilient person you know

is not someone who breaks down – it’s someone who has learned to sit

with their pain without letting it define their entire identity!

I must tell you that I have suffered unimaginably for an eternity

Even the memory of such pain causes me a residual pain in this lifetime

Forget about the immense pain I have had to suffer all through this lifetime!

You ought to know what it feels to be eaten up and bodygrabbed relentlessly;

to suffer the pain of inflictors who have been perpetrators in past lifetimes

and continue to do so in this one, until you just relent to their tyranny!

But I am made of sterner stuff, seldom voicing the pain

You must know that I am sorry that you feel disdain

that I do not wish to surrender to the evil that prompted my rapine and torture

from the beginning of time; when you all in the Coalition were expecting me to

shake hands with him for your own fortunes! I won’t call you selfish!

I actually sympathise that your convictions are like mine, our like-mindedness has been hijacked by the Labor Party to suit their own selfish convenience

This is a travesty and villainy by all accounts!

Not many in Australia see the barricade of evil that the Labor Party has subjected all opinions too!

And how do they differentiate or distinguish Muslim from Jew?!

And how they seem to be pretentious to Climatists and also be following fuels?!

And don’t you think I am unaware of the fact Albanese tried to blatantly (cruelly) trap me in a crocodile `tear’ing of the Yes Vote!

And all the subsequent treacheries he committed against me?!

I only did my duty to destiny; not that I wanted to defeat the Coalition

But I really think the Labor Party is so confoundingly treacherous, that it needs

to ostrich its head in the ground for fear of its own guilt and shame!

You must, finally, understand that I can’t forgive the ones I shouldn’t forgive!

Even knowing that this is a close-end where the Coalition will only meet continual defeat, not for their fault, but because of the villainy of others against me!
