Where is Christ?: A poem

The Kings are playing the game of rule

It’s time for them to check and check-mate

The pawns are rolling, and it’s cruel

to see how this goes to placate

great nations who don’t want to, yet, battle

but to cold war, as they build an arsenal

A world is in throes, but they have no qualms

in their determination to avoid comeuppance

The idea to live and let die holds

As lesser nations walk with blind-folds

into traps of depredation set out for them

and their peoples descend into mayhem.

This has been the history of humanity

where the predatory have beguiled with impunity

Come to think of it, Christ has nothing up his sleeve

He has, in all probability, gone on leave

  1. Christ has not go on leave but is eyes are on each one of us with his saving grace daily.we may forget him ,but he does not forget us as he loves us dearly as his own children, the Apple of his eye .Amen
