Of winners and losers: A poem

Has been witnessed how the flags were unfurled

all across the disadvantaged downtrodden world

For the tales of history have been indelibly written

unswervingly in reprobate by those that win

And our justice system has been dispensed

by those who have us wilfully convinced

of what is right and what is wrong

when the reality was a lie all along

Yet it is those who live in undeserved shame

That die victorious in eternity’s game

leaving the earthly spoils for those that win

and flourish unsuspecting in Satan’s sin

Hi, I am Monte Cyril Rodrigues and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired journalist. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I've had voices and visions all my life. I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
