When one has paid one’s debt
Perhaps, it’s time for death.
How to reckon with the sorrows when the time has come
That memories and tears will linger in the minds of some
Yet life’s little blessings were in truly caring and sharing
To be a beacon of love and in so unswervingly doing
Shining the light on each and every one and verily showing
That spreading cheer around kept the inner self glowing
When death beckons…to gladly and determinedly go
as all encumbrances and anxieties matter no more
Yet to know that one was purely luminescent for others
is the secret wisdom that is what really matters
Taking with one all the love to fondly remember
In the aftermath, when peace and happiness are rendered
Death finally brings the calling from the real home
A life well-spent will forever in God’s bliss roam
so beautiful
