Invocation to our leaders: A poem 

We ought to invoke our leaders to lead by example 

That incorruptibility, integrity and morality be their preamble 

So, in their hearts spark the fires of such noble causes 

Regardless of their allegiances or loyalties to any houses 

To refrain from war and crime, to forsake cruelty 

To understand that what they must do is the call of duty 

That their hearts are filled with empathy for the downtrodden 

That they desist from bigotry or prejudice and love all men 

Not to pursue self-gain or cause distress to other nations 

But to strive for peace and prosperity, that be their disposition 

That purity not vengeance be the motive, and common good 

And they realise that there is eternal wisdom in brotherhood 

Above all, to make their avowed mission that of justice 

For only justice can manifest on earth perpetual bliss 

That they endeavour to be peerless and work to procure Eden 

And being such beacons, materialise the best in all men
