In the tourist hubs of plenty we prefer to be in action
Disparity’s landfill grows larger when generosity takes a vacation
To own our precious idols our temples must not be soiled
The lamps of our privileges must burn with honour’s oil
Undeserved are the harvests of choice if we fail to see
what our duties, responsibilities and obligations be
A right to acquire has a duty to share and care
A right to a surfeit of free will must with morality bear
There are arid fields where freedom doesn’t shine
Rights for many are just rainbows for the blind
Tyranny is the décor of nations built on greed of a few
Frosty is the dawn of millions without enlightenment’s dew
All flowers treat as equal regardless of their hues
Circumspect are our rights, if discrimination we choose
Doing unto others what we wish for ourselves be our duty
Humanity is all the richer when the downtrodden share dignity’s bounty
Too good Monte . You are blessed and brilliant in your writings
