Inspiration: A poem

Many intricate gifts we do bear

in talents that we deem to share

Great lives are conjured up as if by magic

But if they are selfish, they become tragic

Genius is a score whose music is fortune

But only lyrics of humility embellish the tune

Gems sparkle brighter with education and opportunity

But with charity and dignity glows the true legacy

The lightning of inspiration is in the masterstroke

But without great deeds it is hopelessly broke

To burn with fire is in furthering the fight

to always stand up for whatever is right

Creativity is a goldmine but fortitude is the ore

The real magnum opus is when goodness roars

And the epitaph to the lowly toiler was in his struggles day-to-day

How he shone his light on others in his own little way

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
