The cloth of our skies
Is woven with their lies
When cruelly they did slit a throat
And in their victory, they did gloat
The sheafs of history are stolen fruit
Truth is in the flotsam of deadwood
And justice is only but clay
To the order that rules the day
Our pride lies in the gems of the past
The untitled chapters that did not last
To cast our nets in the oceans of yore
And restore the heritage that was pure
Victims don’t tell tales, victors do
Our pages are bound with such deceit’s glue
How one man made another a slave
And civilisation, in turn, called him brave
This reminds me of Great? Britain . I’m not sure how they can call themselves that – given all the lies and deceit to cover up their sinful deeds to those that that were vulnerable !!

So true and very painful. Better it is to forego history and live he’s full in the now.
