The big cats may have a field day in a dog-eat-dog world, but it’s not so nice a place for those at the receiving end of the cat-and-mouse game. And if you’re often in the predicament of a cat’s paw, you have every right to feel as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.
You might even discover that life is a kitty party once you’ve let the cat out of the bag. But not on a day when it’s raining cats and dogs. And if you’re the superstitious kind, you may well blame the wayside black cat for all your ensuing troubles.
The feline buff, however, would delight in a little cat wit of conceit. But putting the cat among the pigeons and thereby creating trouble would be enough to make the cat roar with laughter. Speaking of troubles, the enterprising rat would require more than mere connivance to bell the cat. And if it’s a fat cat that he has to contend with, he may as well turn cat in the pan at the very prospect.
Yet it was curiousity that eventually killed the cat. But don’t let’s celebrate, for it’s only the cat that has nine lives. Who’d blame Mr. Tomcat for feeling like the cat’s whiskers after this?
Too good Monte
