Will you, my dearest…?: A poem

Will you meet me at the crossroads?

Will you offer me bed and board?

Will you help me bear my load?

Will you share, with me, your little hoard?

Will you make my day and say:

I’ll be truly yours in old and grey?

And this lamp that shows the way

is where my fortune’s stone henges lay

In this acropolis, on the hill, you police

is a vantage point where my aspiration sits

I have glory written down, of ancient stories,

in lodes of my DNA from past lives’ memories

Will you fulfill these ages of undistilled yearning?

You know it all…you don’t need learning

So that the grail did not, the frail knight, fail

His soulmate, finally, provided for his bail

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
