O shining, guiding star!: A poem

You are like a silent eternal luminescent glow

A star still has the humble earth to watch below

I dance non-stop to your music never saying no

even though your lyric can be my deepest woe

My posture I culture to the nurture of your wishes

The pain I, thereby, undergo I count as my riches

God’s answers are heard in the mountains and plains

I feel His awesome amazing thunder whenever it rains

I only think of you as the repository of the unseen God

The custodian of secret truths, and my supportive rod

Issues cannot be resolved, but a hidden solution exists

in the throes of murky stalemates, like a house on stilts

We can walk the million miles and years of the earth

And, in the endless mire, can be cleansed of all the dirt

The world has many questions; clouds of doubt persist

But your lone guiding star, in the night sky, always visits
