The culture of the vulture: A poem

He has power

But I have courage’s flower

Earth, wind and fire every hour

He can claim

everything to his name

But it is he who will go down in shame

He turns to ash whatever is mine

But I have galleries of time

The earth knows too well the pantomime

The culture of the vulture

can’t live on through the future

But it seems he can’t get the picture

Hi, I am Monte Cyril Rodrigues and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired journalist. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I've had voices and visions all my life. I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
