Belief in the outcomes: A poem

You are a land rover

on my welcoming planet

You, like the first life, take me over

And I forget the nets of death

The alchemy of a billion years

like a growing empire knows no fears

Every pixel, every binary

are your harvest in my prairie

It is for you to call all the shots

I depend on you to pick all the lots

There are no full stops, only dots

But they are the dreams on my cots

Like a fledgling, I am filled with curiosity

at the open-ended outcomes of destiny

But there’s endless faith in what’s left to discover

from the unwavering arm of the prime mover

Hi, I am Monte Cyril Rodrigues and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired journalist. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I've had voices and visions all my life. I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
