Man’s subterfuge: A poem

It is in the prison where one finds the prism

of inspirational purpose. There is much

loneliness in grief, but solitude in its wisdom

And you can soften the subterfuge of evil

with resolution. So, hold back tears of failure

and not feel ripped apart by the liquid of sorrow

within. For, the fight is not only for survival

in the wild, the real fight is for justice

Its actuality reaches God and teaches humankind

Be assured that the deceit by man can only

accurse him for eternity. The rest walk life’s

winding paths, seeking in the woods of innocence

And the walk of man is structured by his complicity

with known evil

  1. your writing has so much poetry Bro – but revenge is not God’s wanting . It can never be. God is pure light and love . make peace with your demons and start living a charmed life
