O Brother Jesus, do me a favour!: A poem

O Brother Jesus, do me a favour!

You know, you were only the fish’s saviour

You must realise, that it’s now or never

Or else, it will always be sea, rain and river

Remember, that you, I never did blame

But I can give you glory and take away shame

There is so much suffering to my name

Stand by me now and play my game!

I know, this time round, you didn’t go happily to Pisces

What we must do, in destiny, is not always our vices

But there is duty for which we make sacrifices

The cross is inevitably painful, but it was the evil crucifix rises

The spin is too slow, of the wheel

27,000 years and more for just one reel

I am an eternal warrior, but not eternal steel

I need more than divine help; though I didn’t strike any deal

You must recall how I was and am always overhauled

by the treachery of the evil Prakash Saint Paul

And there is a treacherous Albanese, an equal disease

O brother, please help Earth be saved from the murky deep seas!
