They all thought it was Jesus, but it was silent James
He is so young, though older; older than any other name
He is fire, and that fire is like a mellow but scalding flame
And Mary and Sarah knew that he was never ever to blame
For, it was evil Saint Paul who rendered him lame
An Age can pass in defeat, but he never loses the game
For James is Just; Mary knew he must do what he must
He and Sarah are Godly gold; and Mary is mettle that never rusts
Mother, you kept your secret in wisdom’s: Let it be! Let it be!
They stoned him to death; but could they bring him to his knees?
James valiantly suffers injustice and cruelty like deforested trees
Mother you are immaculate and clairvoyant; seeing what your son sees!
This is God who pretends he is lowly; never violent, but slowly
His Mother feels his tears; but no fears, she is his truly
Mother Mary, is virtue a sin? Is justice a lie and untruth??
It is the world that cannot recognise the evil and the good!
