Tell me, if you see the sun and sea?: A poem

I have so many so sublime faces like God only can

Yet two of these look forever forward and back

I tried to talk to the devil; he morphed and began:

Whose do you think the sun is? He laughed and sang!

And would you have answers for all the questions that ran?

Do you think the altar granting protection wants fruit from a man?

Even Noah knew that flesh is preferred; a sacrificial lamb

One of them loves to bleed you dry, the other swallows you wan

Call up the God who makes himself vulnerable to them two

Though you don’t think much of him; he alone can save you

If you knew the zodiac’s laws, you’d never doubt it’s true

mythology is not technology; but voodoo alone won’t keep away the moon!

Heaven is like publicity; is it your most desired and ultimate wish?

Did you know your much-touted saviour represented a scaly fish?

The Church would rather make you the deep sea’s wholesome dish

Or you could be serving forever thinking: how did you come to this?

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
