My Casula, you came this morning and licked my face, my beautiful: A poem

Is there a diameter across the dimensions

that must be traversed? Is love a skyrocket

that jettisons past every barrier of speed and light

to reach out? I have heard your silence in corridors

of remembrances, not knowing how time has flown?!

That knowing wisdom in your eyes that spelt and spoke

of more than love, but the expression of love as well!

And I am a child again learning from you, as much as an

adult again in my duty of care for you…How beautiful beings

ask so little of us but want to give us so much more?!

I find the wholesome divinity of you an enigma in the absolute

Baby-shine of you. Even as you had a hard life, but discovered the

deserved love so late in it! I can tell you as I close the page on

this poem, my Casula; my page will never close on you!!!!
