It is not your crevice, but your self-awareness!: A poem

When you think you have fallen into the crevice

of destiny; when you think you are too debilitated

to swing the bat at the ball(!); and you feel your

bones creak even to do the necessary chores;

when you feel so dilapidated, that you think your

wrinkles are not wrinkles, but cobwebs(!); there is

no better time to reveal the beauty in you! Even if

there are charlatans in power who want to make you

feel small. The desert within you can only grow, if you

cannot love yourself. The seas hit the shoreline constantly,

but the shoreline has stood the test of time. There is a pride

within you – for not falling at any time, when they tried, so ruthlessly,

to trip you down with chicanery. Does that evil man Anthony Norman Albanese

think he can flourish by haranguing you or intimidating you?

He is the most unwelcome Prime Minister in the history of Australia;

who won two terms on the morsels you flung at him. You

don’t even want his thanks, because he is somewhere on

a pedestal (he thinks); that is so low below you!!! It is time, then,

you begin to celebrate your love, despite knowing there are

vultures encircling you, waiting to spot your enervation.

Deserving self-love is no narcissism. And if you feel your

True Love walked away from you at crunch times; there may

have been a reason for it. Remember, you are your own crutch

as you limp in the agony of hurt and pain caused to you! Remember, it is not

the crevice you have fallen into, but a unique home of self-

awareness and self-realisation that now shine their solid lights in

the dimness you feel encumbering you. And, “rediscover yourself(!)”; proud that the

immense pain and suffering you have been through was the

greatest legacy of sacrifice that you could have given to the world!!!!
