Yes, a pet can teach you to be a Phoenix!: A poem

I don’t know if there is any truth in the long-alleged veracity that

Sappho of Lesbos was a lesbian for her passionate poems

about her island filled with beautiful female under-studies!

But I can say I am not a narcissistic homosexual

for loving myself! And I am certainly not a misanthrope

for despising a few Men! I just like you all to know that my love

is not a device to discriminate, but an explosion of innocent

untethered autonomous emotion for a few. Although, I am

not reticent to say that I am not a syncretist! The particularly

inviolate thing about love is that it grows and is further

enamoured and disarmed by appreciation and reciprocity. Nevertheless,

I’ve loved in discretion as well, picking my way out of situations

by accepting or rejecting! God knows this love has been judicious,

even if misunderstood. And here I am to talk about my pets,

whose love is so eternally outlasting of everything, even if their own

material presence is so briefly ephemeral. And I can say to you

God, there is a representation of you in a best friend who cannot

speak to assure us, he/ she is our best friend. But there is so much

emblazoning in the fact that he/ she teaches us in silence that we

can always be Phoenixes no matter the tribulations that seem to get us down!

I think it is a spiritual experience, my doctors think otherwise. I am a deeply spiritual person and keep having experiences with otherworldly realms.
