Even if this poem is doggerel; it has much to say!: A poem

I thought I am quite a kitchen king

I turn out the savour with an instinctive savvy

Can anyone fathom that  sometimes it ends in disaster?

A hobgoblin in me tries permutations and combinations

Finally, it is a risk, but isn’t life about risks

I have endeavoured to be valiant despite all the odds against me!

How easy it is to think that one can peel off tribulation

like an onion. Crush it like a cob of cardamom!

How do you use spices when you can’t even spice up your life?

Let it go! Self-admonishment is a humble attitude

But self-confidence is a vast degree

Look at me, if the cooking was an answer

to fend off the many impositions, manipulations

of the treacherous. But my intrepid cooking

is an exemplary activity and strongarm in the  deficit of means in self-defense and self-preservation,

And I have often been kind to the vilest foe

And they have only returned my patient generosity  with much cruelty of treachery

Do you think I ever hastened to react to only be punished for reacting,

while the perpetrators got away with their crimes and murders against me?

Does the Prime Minister of this country have much to speak for himself in that regard?

Who is listening then, which power? When each day, each year it gets more and more difficult?

I am saying to myself: it is getting harder, I am growing older

It is getting more tortuous, I am not getting stronger

But does that get me intimidated? My valour sticks to me in every predicament

I can say that those who commit crimes against me will get their comeuppance at one point or the other!!!
