(For beauty was so infinitely profound in its original point, that it was envied and waylaid!)
You know it is very hard to believe
when faith becomes a bludgeony in time
And I am already sixty-two this present moment in this life!
May be sixty-two billion in infinity
if space takes that much time to expand!
You know darling, we lived so much in our cocoon,
until we were rudely awakened
And time drifted us away in the expanse of the Universe
I was only hoping I’d see you again and again
Even if destiny’s format was none too agreeable
Why did I ever acquiesce to the stone wall
if it caused me so much pain?
Just to have that little straw hold of love
to reach out to, even if in vain, despite all the askance
of a cruel circumstance; a never forthcoming providence!
As if all the evil had all the aces up its sleeves!
I thought I saw a rubicund arc of redemption in the West
I may be belied; for, I know righteous, but how can I ever know best?
This is an eternity of sacrifice; it is so ridiculously painful and funny!
Did I so foolishly deign to lampoon my own self?
No! I braved the stonewall most importantly for love
For Mum and Dad, for everyone that deserved it, and
(I can hear it echo in the Universe all the time)
most resoundingly for you!!!
