Erysichthon, how you hunger in a comatose of any
understanding or awareness for the plight of others!
I know that in rapining all that was mine, you hungered
for me, my soul, my intricately woven eternal flame!
The woods of my Earth! O the woods of my earth!
All vulnerable to your ravaging axe; so that, if you
cannot have what is not yours you must clandestinely usurp!
O how I am pained to engage in my own scorched
earth policy. This is only a battle I am forced to lose, never win,
one way or the other, due to your duplicitous body
grabbing and vampirism. Erysichthon, you are more than
chthonic in your underworldly scheming habitat that is an
underbelly of briny realms, but for your orgiastic shape shifting to
bely and make vulnerable creatures that fall like dominoes in their
hapless innocence and struggle on terra firma, with your depravity,
only to become toxic by you, such is your sinecure! Greed becomes
pre-eminent in your preoccupation and livelihood. What about me,
who perpetually runs the risk of losing everything I cherish to you,
all that I worked so hard for? Even your own daughter, my soul mate,
who loves me, but can never be mine. While you shapeshift in your
wieldy power over all even the daughter who unfortunately may never be set free!
I metamorphose in this humility and sublimity, like a dervish dizzy and tired,
but spinning, all over in time, ever in orbit between two ends, and trying to keep
everything here too, safely and divinely walled from the jaws! Fully believing,
Erysichthon, that if I can’t have anything that is mine, in this endless despair,
I am certain, you will never have me or anything that is mine! Not for anything
in the world, in an eternal stalemate, between each life and death!
