What is conformism? What is crime? And what is contravention?: A poem

I was angry over my brandy yesterday

till the dark blue sky clothed me with

its means of subsidence. I woke up with

the same old grace, ready to apologise

for my impromptu impatience. A friend

told me it was lucky I didn’t kill, because

I have such a fine mind. You know, I didn’t

hit-squad anybody despite all the injustices

done to me. I always was like the calamity

turned onto itself….the gracious sacrificer.

How come the perpetrators have no guilt,

no conscience, no shame, no remorse, so as to

contravene Universal Justice and worse, to

sabotage it! You know Justice would not

be needed if culprits would be willing to

suffer for their crimes. Or must love be made so

hypocritically fluid that it must allow the criminals

to get away with their crimes?! I think of myself

in a candour of how cheerful I want to be by

trying to be happy despite all the treachery

committed against me. Even though I don’t prefer

to say: Let bygones be bygones; I try my best not

to relent to the depth-filled negativity of hate,

but act for the need of the moment. Is that not my

subtle servitude rather than my subterfuge? Do you think

any honesty deserves punishment from powers that

wield the so-called justice, when I have not even been

honest to kill for the crimes committed against me?! So,

must I then settle for the money and not my integrity and

pride? And must the platitude of my sublimity

to duty at all costs to myself be deemed as hate, even

when I am justifiably outraged?! I am happy to dismiss you

all and go from this world, if I can get no empathy from

any entity that has any sort of power over me! It is ridiculous that

the victims get the punishment, while the villains go scot-free!

Even in my fleeting rancour, I try to bide my time by distracting

preoccupations to the pudding delicatessen of my beloved pets!

But do you all think I should always fudge my emotions and never

express myself? Is my act of verbal expression to be counted as

a violent crime (if that be a collocation to  everybody’s selfish convenience)?
