You and me, we are like trees, barely touching,
but full of our embrace! I see us wandering in
different gardens but imbibing of the same
fragrances; like golden flowers whose similitudes
are only apparent in ether. Even so, we partake
of the same nectarine ambrosia, in different cups.
And I feel I am streaming like a fallen coconut, traversing
distant oceans to land in your groves and bear
my true frutescence. I take down the vestments
of my own beautiful self, to see my unclothed
profound spirit reflect your beauty. How one we
are (!), that nobody has the gumption to validate our oneness!
Are we to be blamed for this short-sightedness among men?
Yet little objects of our love, our paraphernalia, are strewn all
over the universe, to help it remember our eternity!
And there is a subconscious conflagration, yes, there is an
emblazonment in each true eternal spirit that belong to us,
that gives them the muted but salient memory of our divine original Godhood!
