Fall guys simply don’t bid bye!: A poem

Ask me why

when I fell into the sky

I thought I was going to die?!

There is a universe in my soul

And I confess I am feeling whole

All because of rock and roll!

They all want to play my song

I just don’t want to sing along

even if it is only honky-tonk!

Ask me why

a righteous soul would have to lie

because I can’t even play shy!

You’d think my earth

is their pay-dirt

Is that why I took birth?

And you know how they spy

Like my pudding’s got rye

The red spot in their eye!

I could be cunning for their sly!

I can’t be low, but can I be high

between the spider and the fly?

Big souls don’t cry!

Big souls don’t cry!

Big souls don’t cry!

Not even a sigh!

I’m no half-baked pie!

Fall guys don’t just bid bye!
