My treasure chest! Oh what a mess!

(Based on the song Budapest by George Ezra)

I think I can die for you, but I’d just die anyway!

I thought so much of life, and it is still rife

with the death of belonging to you. O my castles!

My treasure chest in Budapest! Can’t be my nest!

How do I know what is best, with you? I never died of hungry

But should I make a change and tear up my dungarees!

How I died all the time for you?! Do you think it’s a blessing

or a curse to have my enemies singing the lark?

My ark was always sinking; so much for my thinking:

It’s all going to be okay! A birthday wish can’t make me rich

And life’s been no holiday; even if I wished my sorrow away!

I just want to tune into nothingness, like it was the safest haven

I’d roamed so many taverns, like I only had a cavern!

Do you see I’ll lose my paradise for you, haven’t got a clue?

I only get missives in my desert for all the oases I created (for others)

What is patience, for what did I awaited?

I have no splotchy underworld in my underbelly; I’m just tired of all this helly!

Do you want me to lose it all; I thought I was Lord Ram

Just what about my hurting arm, if I lose it all for you?!

All the kingdoms and subjects I swore by (Was it all a lie?)

Do you think I can eternally groove; how long am I going to have to prove?

Each salient lifetime never in the news for all my sacrificial muse!

Do you choose, that I, everything I posses, should lose!
